10/01/04 thru 10/31/04 - Read All Over Book Drive
Barnes & Nobel was available for the community in collecting books for Read All Over. The program puts books in children's hands by collecting and then distributing books to new teachers. As a result, kids in these classrooms have a good selection of books to enjoy and read. 1000 + new or gently used book were donated.

Brant also won the
Kohl's Kids Who Care® award which recognizes children
who have made a difference in their communities.
Senator
Boxer's Excellence in Education Award
Senator Boxer established
the Excellence
in Education Awards to recognize and raise awareness
of teachers, parents, businesses, and organizations that are
working to make positive changes in education. Read All Over
was recognized in a ceremony at Monarch
School in San Diego, CA, where the Senator presented
Brant with the award.
